Music Generation is a national music education programme whose mission is to empower children and young people to realise their full potential through access to, and participation in, high quality performance music education.

In Scoil Íosagáin we are very fortunate to work with Jessie Cawley , Paul Clesham , Karl Nesbitt and Joe Philpott.

All four tutors work every week delivery musical instruction of the highest quality.

We have a school band of 40 children that play various instruments such as; Fiddle, Concertina, Accordion, Banjo , Guitar , Flute and Tin whistle .

As a school we have performed on the Late Late Toy Show, in the Everyman Theatre, The Opera House and even appeared on the RTE Today Show.
